Indice Marsupio nasce nel 1976 nel cuore del Veneto, precisamente a Mon-
tebelluna ai piedi del Montello. Negli anni ‘80 questa zona era leader
per la produzione di articoli sportivi e scarponi da sci. Ecco il motivo
per cui Giuseppe Fusco iniziò a produrre borse porta scarponi e sac-
che da sci per terzi con il logo del cliente, sia in Italia che all’estero. A
metà degli anni ‘80 le aziende leader iniziarono a conoscere i paesi
asiatici con prezzi convenienti ed a spostare la produzione all’estero.
Considerando la situazione che andava peggiorando, Giuseppe Fusco
abbandonò la collaborazione con loro e lanciò il marchio Marsupio con
una vasta gamma di prodotti: zaini da montagna, zaini da caccia, zaini
per il tempo libero, borse sportive ed accessori. Creò una fitta rete
commerciale in Italia e all’estero ed oggi Marsupio è presente in più
di 700 negozi. I prodotti Marsupio garantiscono sicurezza, comfort e
funzionalità. Vengono fatte attente ricerche non solo nella scelta dei
materiali, nell’organizzazione della produzione, nel controllo qualità, nel
design accattivante ed esclusivo, ma anche per collocare i materiali
secondo le diverse condizioni dell’uso. Questo solo grazie all’esperienza
di un team pronto a testare i prodotti sul campo. Il nostro obiettivo è

Marsupio was founded in 1976 in the heart of the Veneto, more exactly in
the town of Montebelluna, at the foot of the Montello Hill. In the 1980s this
area was a world leader in the production of sporting goods and ski boots.
This led to Giuseppe Fusco’s decision to start production of ski boot bags
and ski bags for his clients’ own-branded products, both in Italy and abroad.
In the mid 1980s the leading companies started to recognise the po-
tential savings of sourcing production from Asia and then they started to
movetheir production abroad. As a result of this worsening situation for
local producers, Giuseppe Fusco took the decision to cease producing for
these local companies and to launch Marsupio as an independent brand
offering a vast range of products: alpine rucksacks, hunting rucksacks, lei-
sure backpacks, sport bags and accessories. He developed a successful
sales network in Italy and abroad and today Marsupio is present in over
700 shops worldwide. Marsupio products provide superb safety, comfort
and functionality. Extensive research is carried out not only into sourcing
the best materials, organising production, stringent quality control, and
unique, eye-catching design, but also to ensure that the right materials are
selected based on the end-use of the product. This is the culmination of a
